Drywall Repair, Installation & Finishing Services in Northeast Wisconsin
Elite Drywall Solutions is a full-service drywall contractor. We handle everything between the studs and the paint: hanging, taping, mudding, finishing, texturing, and repairs, for homes and commercial spaces across Green Bay, Appleton, Oshkosh, and the Fox Valley. One crew, brother partners, start to finish.

Drywall Repair & Patching
Most drywall damage does not start as a drywall problem. It starts as a plumbing leak, an ice dam, a doorknob, a moving day, or a house quietly settling through another Wisconsin freeze-thaw cycle. We can fill all types of damage to look good as new.

Water damage repair.
Stained, sagging, or soft drywall needs to come out, not get painted over. We cut back to clean material, replace it, and finish it so you would never know. If you have had a roof leak or a burst pipe, this is the call to make once the water problem itself is fixed.

Holes, dents & cracks.
Doorknob holes, furniture scrapes, anchor damage, and the stress cracks that show up over doors and windows as the house moves with the seasons. We secure the area, patch it, and feather it out flat.

Nail pops & seam repair.
Those little circles and ridges are fasteners and tape telling you the framing has dried and shifted. We re-secure, re-mud, and blend.

Ceiling repair.
Ceilings are less forgiving than walls because light rakes across them. We repair water-damaged, cracked, and previously botched ceilings, and we match the existing texture so the patch does not look like a patch.

Texture-matched patches.
A repair is only finished when you cannot find it. Matching the surrounding texture is included in how we quote repair work, not an upsell.
Drywall Installation: Hanging, Taping & Finishing
Everything that happens after drywall depends on how it goes up. Paint cannot fix bad taping, and trim cannot hide a wavy wall. We handle hanging and finishing as one continuous standard.
New construction
We work alongside general contractors and builders to hang, tape, and finish entire homes on schedule. Clean deadlines, clean seams.
Basement finishing
The classic Wisconsin project: turning bare studs and concrete into a rec room, home office, guest suite, or a basement built for game day. We handle the drywall phase from board to paint-ready.
Additions & remodels
Tying new drywall into existing walls is its own skill. We blend new work into old so the room reads as one build, not two eras.
Commercial build-outs
Retail spaces, offices, and light commercial projects that need durable, spec-appropriate drywall delivered on a working timeline.
Knockdown Texture & Custom Wall Finishes
Texture is the personality layer of a wall, and it does two practical jobs: it adds depth, and it forgives minor imperfections that a flat wall would broadcast. We apply new textures and match existing ones during repairs.

Knockdown Texture
The most requested finish in the region, on walls and ceilings alike. Joint compound is sprayed on, allowed to set briefly, then flattened ("knocked down") with a trowel to create a mottled, low-relief pattern. Durable, great at hiding minor flaws, and equally at home in living rooms and commercial spaces. We apply new knockdowns and match existing knockdowns during repair work, which is the part most shops get wrong.

Orange Peel Texture
A subtle, evenly dimpled spray finish that looks like its namesake. It is the quiet default of modern construction: durable, easy to clean, and low-drama. A common choice for rentals, offices, and whole-home consistency.

Skip Trowel Texture
A hand-applied finish with an old-world, Mediterranean character. Thin compound is skipped across the surface with a curved trowel, leaving irregular, layered strokes. No two walls come out identical, which is exactly the appeal.

Level 5 Drywall Finish
Drywall finishing is graded on an industry scale from Level 0 (board hung, nothing else) to Level 5 (a full skim coat over the entire surface). Most homes are finished at Level 4. Level 5 adds a thin, complete layer of compound across every inch of the wall, not just the seams and screws.
Why bother? Light and paint. High-gloss and dark paints, large windows, open stairwells, and rooms with strong natural light will reveal every seam shadow and roller ridge on a standard finish. A Level 5 drywall finish gives you a flat, uniform surface with no telegraphing, which is why it is the spec for high-end homes, feature walls, and critical-light commercial spaces.
If you are deciding between finish levels for a project, ask us during the estimate. We will tell you honestly where Level 5 is worth it and where Level 4 will serve you fine.

How a Project Runs

Our work ends with sanded, dust-wiped, primer-ready surfaces—but that doesn’t mean we have to stop there. We also offer painting and final finishing services, or we can work alongside your preferred contractors to help bring the project across the finish line. Whether you want us to handle the finishing or coordinate with your team, we’ll help make sure the job is completed to the highest standard.
Finished Means Ready for Paint
Services FAQ
We bill by the time and materials needed to complete the job - every bill is built out custom for the work we’ll need to accomplish the work. All you need to do is show us a photo of the damage you’re looking at, and we’ll give you a quick estimate. Every estimate is free and itemized, so you will see exactly what you are paying for before we start.
Level 4 finishes the seams, corners, and fastener heads, and it is the standard for most painted walls. Level 5 adds a skim coat over the entire surface for a perfectly uniform plane. Choose Level 5 for glossy or dark paint, strong side lighting, or anywhere the wall itself is the feature.
One patch is a real job to us. Small repairs are just as important to us as everything else we do, and we put the proper care into all jobs, big or small.
Yes: repairs, new installation, and texture work, including matching existing knockdown and orange peel ceilings. (Confirm with the owners before adding: removal or smoothing of dated ceiling textures. Note for any home built before the mid-1980s, old ceiling texture should be tested for asbestos before it is disturbed.)
Yes. We slot into build schedules, communicate proactively, and finish when we said we would. GCs and remodelers are a big part of our week.
